Booking a Lake Como private boat tour online: dates, times and confirmation
1 November 2026 · 3 min read

Start with the tour you actually want
If you are planning a November outing on Lake Como from abroad, booking online lets you see real options for your chosen day without waiting for replies across time zones. The page is built around one idea: your tour comes first. Choose the tour or duration you want before looking at dates, so everything that follows is checked against that choice. If you arrive from a tour page through its Book now button, that tour is already selected and shown at the top, with a clear option to change it. If you open the booking page directly, nothing is assumed: you pick the tour yourself.
See the current private tours →Set pickup and guests, then read the calendar
Next, tell the page where you will board and how many people are coming. Boarding in Como is included. Your pickup choice can change the total; some locations also require transfer time, which affects which departures fit. Count every passenger, because larger groups change the total. The calendar then shows the days that currently have at least one free departure for that tour and pickup. It reflects availability at the moment you look; nothing is held for you while you browse. Once availability has loaded, choose a selectable date for your tour and pickup. If availability cannot be loaded, follow the retry guidance rather than assuming the day is sold out.
Explore the Como villas one-hour tour →Choose a departure time
After choosing a date, you see only the departure times that fit your tour on that day, together with the time you will be back. Choose an available departure and check the displayed return time before continuing. If none works, choose another date or a different duration deliberately. Changing the tour updates the calendar, clears the time and, if the date no longer fits, removes it with a short message. The page never swaps your tour for another one behind the scenes.
Check the summary before you pay
Before anything is charged, the summary shows the exact total for your tour, date, pickup and group, the 30% deposit paid online and the balance paid to the skipper on the day, in cash or by card. Until a valid date is chosen, amounts are marked as indicative and the button asks you to pick a date and time rather than inviting payment. Read the full terms, which must be accepted before the secure deposit payment opens. For a sense of how the total is built, our prices guide explains the factors without replacing the live quote.
Read the private tour prices and quote guide →Know when your tour is confirmed
Your tour is confirmed only once the deposit payment has been verified and your slot is recorded in our calendar. The confirmation page then shows your booking reference and tour details; keep that reference. Keep the on-screen reference and tour details as your record. A bank charge alone is not confirmation of your tour. If payment is still being confirmed, follow the guidance shown on the page. If it says the deposit is paid but calendar confirmation is pending, or that the booking is under review, it is not yet a confirmed tour: keep the reference and follow the guidance shown.
If something looks wrong during payment
If an error appears or you are unsure whether a payment went through, do not pay again repeatedly. Read the message carefully before deciding whether to try again. If a charge may already have been made, keep the booking reference or payment details and contact us before trying again. For everything else, the quickest route is the booking page: choose your tour, check the live times and review the summary at your own pace.
