Questions before you book

How much is a private boat tour on Lake Como?+

Every tour is private and priced per boat, not per person: the rate depends on duration, pick-up point and extras. You see the exact price instantly in our online booking — choose date and duration and the total appears before you pay. If you prefer, message us on WhatsApp and we confirm everything personally.

Where do we board?+

We board in Como, Cernobbio, Bellagio, Menaggio, Varenna and at many hotels with private jetties. If you are unsure where to start, we recommend the best option based on your chosen itinerary.

Is a skipper included?+

Yes, a private skipper is included in every tour. He speaks Italian and English and knows the shores, jetties and timings of every itinerary well.

How many people fit on the boat?+

Each boat carries up to 11 guests plus the skipper. For larger groups we arrange convoys with multiple boats.

Can I bring children or pets?+

Children are welcome; life jackets are available for all sizes. Pets are usually allowed on covered decks, but please tell us when booking.

Can we eat or drink on board?+

Of course. We bring water, ice and towels. On request we prepare a hamper with sparkling wine, cheese and charcuterie, or we can stop at a restaurant with a jetty.

Do you run tours in winter?+

Yes, we operate all year round. An enclosed, heated cabin is available on request; every outing depends on the boat, availability and the day's weather conditions.

Can the itinerary be customised?+

Absolutely. All tours are private, so the route adapts to your timing and wishes: an extra stop, a photo break, a sunset aperitivo. For safety, swimming is not permitted during tours.

Do you handle weddings and events?+

Yes, it is a big part of what we do. Bridal arrivals, guest transfers, photo cruises at sunset and proposals: send us the schedule and we build the day together.

What should I bring?+

Sunscreen, sunglasses, a light jacket for the evening and comfortable shoes for any land stops. Swimming is not permitted during tours.

What happens if it rains?+

The boat has a covered cabin and awning for light rain. In genuinely bad weather we postpone or refund the deposit.

Do you accept card payments?+

We accept bank transfer, cash and major credit cards. Bookings require a deposit to hold the date.

Do you run evening tours?+

Yes, evening departures are available: in the last hours of light the western shore turns gold and the lake is at its calmest.

Where can I park?+

Como and the main villages have paid car parks near the jetties. If you arrive by train, the Como jetty is a few minutes' walk from the station.
